- How to get a HAR log
For effective problem resolution, our team may need a HAR log — a detailed record of your browser's interaction with the server. It will give us a complete picture of what's going on. With these instructions, you can quickly and easily create a HAR log.
Google Chrome
1. Open the browser console with F12 key.
2. Open Network tab.
3. Enable network logging. When the button is red, this means that recording is in progress.
4. Select Preserve log checkbox.
5. Clear the log of previous events. To do this, press Clear network log. Once the log is empty, replay the error.
6. Once the error has been replayed, the log will become available for download. To do this, right-click anywhere in the Name column. A menu will appear in which you should click Save all as HAR with content.
7. Send this file to us in chat.
Firefox
1. Open the browser console with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+E.
2. Click on the gear icon and click Persist Logs checkbox.
3. Clear the log of past events using Clear button. Once the log is cleared, replay the error.
4. After playing back the error, click Save All As HAR.
5. Send the downloaded archive to us in chat.
