How to set up auto replies?

In the section Settings > General > Greetings (for each number).

How does it work?

A client sends the first message to the chat center. He receives automatic greeting. Meanwhile it can be an existing or a new client: any message counts as first if the clients last request was closed.

 

There are 4 types of auto-replies:

  1. Hello message to new client. For example: “Welcome to Chat2Desk!”

  2. Out of office message to new client. For example: “We’re of duty now, will answer ASAP”.

  3. Hello message to existing client. For example: “Hello, client!”

  4. Out of office message to existing client. For example: “We’re off duty now, will answer ASAP”.

Settings of auto-replies:

  • You can turn auto-replies off and set up for each channel (if you have more than one channel)
  • You can limit auto-replies sending: clients receive auto-replies no more than every 12 hours.
