What is a channel?

The channel is the essence to which various accounts in messengers are connected. For example, accounts of WhatsApp, Instagram* and Online Chat can be connected to a channel supporting an online store. 

Channels and their associated accounts are configured in section Settings > Accounts. Here you can specify a name and profile photo: it will be displayed in the list of chats to quickly identify the channel.
