API
The open API (Application Programming Interface) allows you to use Chat2Desk functions with external systems and configure integration with almost any third-party service.
In the section API and scripts — API you can find necessary information to configure the API:
- your API-token;
- number of API calls available and actually made in the current month.
Detailed API description can be found in Info section.
The function of generating a new authorization token is available to improve the security of working with the API (for example, when an employee who knows the current token is fired). You can generate a new token in the Settings > API section.
